ABOUT PAPITO

PAPITO is about making space for what matters: dads and their kids spending meaningful time together. We’re creating events that make it easier to step away from the everyday, try something new, and build memories side by side.

Dad Time, Well Spent
Shared adventures. Real connection. A community where dads can show up, be themselves, and enjoy being present with their kids.
Why I started

After almost a decade in the financial industry, I realized how little time I was spending with my two daughters during the week. I’d focused so much on providing financially for my family that I’d lost sight of what my girls asked for the most: more time with me.
Our children won’t stay little forever. As parents, we have a short window to create the core memories they’ll carry with them. I wanted to make the most of that time—and for my daughters to look back on their childhood knowing their dad was there, sharing in the moments that mattered.
This generation of dads wants to be present, but we’re still figuring out what that looks like—and how to make it happen. For me, even planning that time could take hours. Activity ideas were scattered across the internet, and finding local experiences that sparked my kids’ curiosity and got us away from screens began to feel like a second job, leaving little room to recharge, care for my own well-being, or spend quality time with my spouse.
When I took my daughters to kids’ activities and programs, I was sometimes the only dad in the group. I often felt out of place, as though these spaces had been designed with only moms in mind. I wanted to create a place where dads felt they belonged—where they could connect with one another and enjoy creating core memories with their kids.
That’s why I started PAPITO: a place made for dads, where meaningful time with their kids is made easier. Less stress. More time for what truly matters.

Starting with connection. Growing with community.
Our first events are coming soon. We’re starting with events just for dads and their kids. As PAPITO grows, we plan to add experiences for the whole family and events designed especially for moms. We want every parent and child to feel they belong, with experiences that reflect different interests, support needs, and family traditions. We’ll also connect families with local small businesses and services that make planning kids’ events easier.
