What you’ll need

Let’s play
1. Mix 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of dish soap.
2. Bend pipe cleaners into circles, squares and hearts.
3. Guess which wand shape will make round bubbles, then test it.
4. Chase and pop every bubble you can.
Your part in the adventure
Ask why a square wand still makes round bubbles.
What they’re discovering
They’re making a guess, testing it and noticing what happens.
Before you begin
Soap stings eyes, so keep a towel and clean water close by.
Keep the idea going
Try a big wand made from two straws and a piece of string.
